Scouting

A Bluebird pair scouted the nestbox this morning until a Mockingbird chased them onto a far rooftop.

A pair of Starling also scrounged in the grass after the rain.

This female Finch returned.  She has one unruly feather on her head. 

Yesterday, she had an itch...

and then tried to eat a nail!

This Sparrow had a lot to say about that from the rooftop...notice the open beak as he was singing.  He almost looks like he's laughing!
