The Starling Show

A Starling put on quite a show yesterday evening.  First, it gave me good silhouette (thanks!).

And then had to scratch...or maybe it was waving?

The action really began when it jumped to a rooftop with a worm in it's mouth.

It walked back and forth along the roof.

And then...shazaaam!

Starlings are mimics like mockingbirds.  I'm not sure who this starling has been hanging around but it gave a call that sounded like a deep burp!
